As of 1 August 2023, AuctionsPlus is introducing a Sale Premium fee payable by selling agents for lots sold in an Online-only Machinery sales.
What is changing and when?
AuctionsPlus is introducing a Sale Premium fee payable by Selling agents for all lots sold in online only Machinery sales.
- This applies to all lots in online only special sales that are booked from 1st August 2023 onwards.
- This applies to all lots created and listed in AuctionsPlus Fortnightly Machinery sales, from 7th August 2023 onwards.
The Sale Premium fee will be charged in addition to the lot listing fee for all lots sold.

What is the Sale Premium fee structure?
Once a lot is successfully purchased on an Online only Machinery sale, AuctionsPlus will calculate the Sale Premium as a percentage based on the purchase price.
The fee is equal to:
- 2% of purchase price if purchase price is between $1,001 - $50,000
- 1% of purchase price if purchase price is between $50,001 - $500,000
- 0.5% of purchase price if purchase price is $500,001 and over.
Please note: Lots with a purchase price of $1,000 or less will not incur a Sale Premium.
How will I be charged?
If a lot is sold and a Sale Premium is applicable, agents will receive an invoice from AuctionsPlus that will display the lot listing fee and the Sale Premium separately.
The Sale Premium is GST exclusive, GST will be added in the invoice.
FAQs
What if I booked a sale before 1 August 2023 but scheduled to run on or after 1 August 2023?
For all online only Machinery sales that have been booked before 1 August 2023 but scheduled to run on or after 1 August 2023, the Sale Premium will not be applied.
What if I have a lot passed in or not sold at auction before 1 August 2023 and would like to reoffer on or after 1 August 2023?
If you have a passed in or not sold at auction before 1 August 2023 and would like to reoffer on or after 1 August 2023, the Sale Premium will not be applied.

Will the Sale Premium apply if my lot is listed and sold in AuctionsPlus Machinery Classifieds?
Any lots are published and sold in AuctionsPlus Machinery Classifieds, the Sale Premium will not apply.
