How to list in AuctionsPlus Machinery Classifieds

Summary/Introduction

AuctionsPlus is dedicated to bring buyers and sellers together to get the right tools into the right hands at the right price. Sometimes listing in an auction doesn’t make that happen, so AuctionPlus has created a Classifieds page. The Classified service will initially be available free-of-charge to registered Machinery Brokers.

Listing to Classifieds will be restricted to lots that have already passed through an Auction, and re-offered at least once. For more information on how to re-offer, please see How to Reoffer Machinery Items on AuctionsPlus for more information

Step 1

The listing agent (machinery broker) creates and publishes a machinery lot listing to a Machinery Sale, as per the curent process. Please note machinery lots cannot be listed directly to Classifieds.

Step 2

If the machinery lot is unsuccessful in the initial Auction listing, the agent/broker is offered the opportunity to reoffer the lot in a future auction. The lot will need to be re-offered at least once to qualify for listing upon the Classifieds.

Step 3

Once the machinery lot has unsuccessfully been re-offered in a second auction, the agent/broker will have the opportunity to list the machinery lot upon the AuctionsPlus Classifieds for a fixed 30-day duration

This can be actioned by selecting ‘Reoffer to Classified’ either from the Listings Portal.

Step 4

Whilst the listed price will default to the orginal Reserve price, the broker can edit this (and any accompanying images) at any time via the Listings Portal.

Important to note that the listed price cannot be lowered to a value less than 15% of the original Reserve price.

Step 5

The agent/broker also has the option to label the lot as SOLD, however the flagged lot will remain visible upon the Classified listing for the remainder of the 30-day duration.

Step 6

At the conclusion of the 30-day period the listing will auytomatically be removed, however the agent/broker does have the facility to relist to Classified via the Listings Portal or User Dashboard (as per Step 3)
