AuctionsPlus has developed a Saleyard Calendar as a way for livestock agents to connect with AuctionsPlus buyers and inform them of upcoming Saleyard bound livestock.
Summary
AuctionsPlus is committed to connecting buyers and sellers in regional Australia. Sometimes livestock is not marketed through AuctionsPlus and is transacted in the traditional Saleyards.
Livestock Agents and Saleyards have traditionally advertised upcoming sales in regional newspapers and with brochures pinned to the saleyard canteen door. These methods unfortunately exclude the vast numbers of potential buyers who buy exclusively online, or rarely visit saleyards.
The AuctionsPlus Saleyard Calendar offers potential buyers the facility to quickly and conveniently review upcoming saleyard auctions and identify offered livestock that meets their buying requirements.
The Saleyard Calendar is an agent managed tool that allows agents, agency administrators and saleyard staff to contribute their own offered livestock details directly.
Whilst the Saleyard Calendar is publicly accessible, adding saleyard auctions and livestock listings is restricted to Agents (and associated administrators) with an appropriate AuctionsPlus account.
If you'd like to learn more about creating an account please visit our article on How do I go about selling Livestock on AuctionsPlus? or lodge a query for further assistance.
