Stating Bloodlines
When referencing bloodlines in your assessment, do not misstate bloodlines. If stock are stated to be of (or joined to) a certain bloodline, you need to be able to provide:
- Registered bull/ram sire ID's
- Dates when the last registered bull/ram was purchased
- Pedigrees
If stock are found to not be of a particular bloodline, the Stud may seek damages for false claims.
If you cannot verify this information, do not include it on your assessment.
To make the most of including information on bloodlines, do not just state "X bloodlines". You can provide potential buyers which a much more in depth picture by including: specific traits that the vendor selects for, how long has the vendor been using those bloodlines, including ABRI links etc.
