If I don't want the livestock that I have purchased, can I send them back?

AuctionsPlus are updating our User Agreement and Sale Terms.

The information outlined in this article is effective as of the 1st March, 2023.

Schedule 3, Part B - Defects & Remedies for Assessed Lots, outlines the criteria where livestock are permitted to be rejected under the AuctionsPlus User Agreement.

Rejection of livestock is not applicable in every circumstance, nor is rejection of an entire consignment until certain thresholds are exceeded and the claim must meet all required criteria. Should livestock be rejected without following the Dispute Resolution Framework, the Purchaser will forfeit their rejection claim.

Please review Part B, found from page 39 to understand rejection in relation to specific claims.

If livestock are rejected the Vendor is responsible for the all costs associated with the purchase and rejection of the Lot. This includes, but is not limited to, freight costs, veterinarian bills, agistment, etc.
