c/kg Price Display in Auction

While most lots are offered for sale on a $/head basis only, those buying young/dry stock typically base their price on a c/kg rate. When bidding at auction buyers will see the c/kg price (Live and Dressed) on all sale lots.

Why?
To assist buyers in calculations and better represent stock value. Buyers review the market as the auction  progresses, and often need to adjust their prices. If you are punching numbers on their calculator during the critical last seconds of an auction, you risk missing out on stock as the auction finishes.

 
Making this information readily available will also aid in reducing auction run times as buyers are more quickly able to make the decision to bid again.
