Burr/Seed Details (Sheep)

The quantity of burr & seed in the fleece should be nominated as well as the type where possible.

Burr

• Nil – No burr of any type
• Very light - Very odd burr only
• Light - Very few burrs of any type on belly, lower points, head, breech
• Medium - Moderate quantity of burr on belly, brisket, flanks
• Heavy - Burr extends above mid rib area and most parts of body

Seed

• None Observed - Nil
• Very Light - Very few surface seeds only
• Light - Very few seed on belly, lower points, brisket
• Medium - Moderate number of seeds on belly, brisket, flanks.
• Heavy - Obvious large number off seeds over most of the body
