By listing a lot on AuctionsPlus, you must meet all listing requirements.
Listing requirements for Assessed Lots, include, but are not limited to:
- Complete a full, accurate assessment as per the current AuctionsPlus assessment entry.
- All descriptions, Assessments or other Data referenced in relation to any Lot must be based on the categories referenced on the AuctionsPlus. If any Assessment also uses other descriptive language, it must use AUS-MEAT Language. Details of AUS-MEAT Language may be obtained from AUS-MEAT.
- An Assessment of livestock requires a minimum sample size of 10% (sheep and goats) and 50% (cattle) in order to be catalogued in an auction.
- If any trait is described on a Sample of the lot only, the sample is deemed to be representative of the entire lot.
- An AuctionsPlus Assessment of Livestock is cannot be older than 30 days from the date of Assessment to the date of Auction
- For any Livestock Lot ensure that at the time of Assessment and Delivery the Livestock comprised within the Lot (if any) are clearly identified by a suitable method described in the Assessment;
- Not list for sale, or deliver, Livestock that is lame, blind or diseased unless the faults are disclosed in the Listing, Catalogue or Assessment and the Livestock is within the Land Transport Standards and MLA Fit to Load Guidelines;
- Where the sale is on a Liveweight basis, the Vendor will nominate the sale terms and the Certified scales where the Livestock are to be weighed and pay for the cost of weighing the Lot unless the Vendor and Purchaser agree otherwise
