How to manage listings order in the auction catalogue?

The order in which livestock are offered in an auction is critical because it can influence buyer behavior, sale prices, and overall auction efficiency. Assessors have control over the order in which their assessed lots are presented.

Step 1

  • Navigate to AuctionsPlus and access the Assessment Entry portal

Step 2
  • Navigate to ‘Your Assessments Grouped by Auction'

  • Identify the required auction

  • Select Order link

Step 3

  • Assessors can continue to order their assessments as a single block within the ‘Your Assessments Grouped by Auction' frame.

Step 4
  • The assessor may also create ‘Order Groups’ that will support the creation of bespoke ‘blocks’ of listings

  • Click ‘New Group’

  • Drag-and-drop an assessment into the designated group. For example an assessor may wish to group all heifers together, or perhaps all dorper ewes.

  • The assessor may then further tailor the order of listings within the newly formed Order Group.

  • Select the Bin icon to delete the group, with all assessment then reverting immediately back to the default Original Assessment Order column.

 Step 5
  • Once satisfied with the order, the assessor selects ‘Save Changes’
