Uploading Images and Videos During Assessment Entry

How to upload Videos to your assessment.

To make better use of Assessors' valuable time AuctionsPlus has created functionality to upload images and video alongside entering livestock assessment information. Assessors (and agents) can reduce administration, but also better ensure that the right videos are attached to the right lots.

Step 1: Complete the current Assessment entry process capturing assessor, vendor and livestock details across existing screens.

Step 2: The final step of the Assessment Entry process is attaching/uploading video and images. AuctionsPlus offer three options.

Option 1 - Upload video files directly through VIMEO (Preferred)

  1. Select the Upload Video button
  2. Navigate and drag-drop video files from the local directory to Upload Screen
    • To ensure that potential bidders can best view, video files must not exceed 100Mb
  3. Select Start Upload
  4. Once the upload is complete, Select Close
  5. Note that the thumbnail may not be immediately visible. If so, refresh the screen.

Option 2 - Linking to video hosted externally

  1. Copy the web URL from the external hosting platform (e.g. YouTube) and paste to the URL field
  2. Provide a brief description to caption the video
  3. Select Add Video

Option 3 - Import video captured through the LiveAssess mobile app

  1. Select the Import LiveAssess Videos button
  2. Select the relevant video file from the personalised Assessment Entry Portal directory
  3. Select Load

Step 3: Reorder videos as required and once complete select Save Changes.
