All lots listed on AuctionsPlus must have a start price, a reserve price and a bid increment. This is decided in consultation with your client.
There are a couple parameters that need to be followed when setting your start and reserve price:
- The start price must be lower than the reserve price.
- The start price, reserve price, and bid increment cannot be 0.
You can enter prices yourself in one of two ways:
- Assessment Entry / Listings Portal
Assessment Entry- You can enter prices in here once you have completed your assessment and go to the review page.
Listings Portal
-
- You can enter prices in here when you are creating the listing initially, or you can go back to it by clicking on the lot in listings portal and clicking the prices tab.
- Click Change, enter the price and click Save
-
- This can only be done once the auction is catalogued, the day before the auction.
- Navigate to your dashboard > My Sales > Upcoming Auctions, then select the auction you are wishing to enter prices for.
- Set the type of reserve, put your prices in the boxes provided, set the bid increment then click Save.
- If you have set the price as c/kg liveweight or dressed weight, you MUST enter the price as a cents value, not dollar value. E.g. if you want the reserve price to be $3.80/kg, you must enter it as 380, not 3.8
