How do I know which sale I should list my stock in?

For our regular weekly commercial livestock auctions, we have designated 'cut-off times' that Assessors must have entered the assessment onto the website by, as per below:

Our auctions target different stock categories and states, please see an outline of each sale below;

  • WA Cattle - weekly auction for all cattle offered from Western Australia only
  • National Lamb Sale - all wether and mixed sex lambs (offered on Tuesday's) must be entered in this sale. Ewe lambs are optional and can also be listed in the National Sheep sale
  • National Sheep Sale - held on a Tuesday and a smaller sale on Thursday's, all other stock categories (e.g. breeding articles) are offered in this auction
  • Seedstock Sheep/Cattle - designated for studstock categories (e.g. bulls, rams, registered females)
  • TAS Sheep - open to all stock categories for Sheep offered from Tasmania
  • TAS Cattle - open to all stock categories for Cattle offered from Tasmania
  • Weaner & Yearling - open to younger stock categories for Cattle (e.g. weaners, yearling, feeders etc.)
  • Eastern States - open to older stock categories for Cattle & breeding articles (e.g. PTIC Cows, Cows & Calves etc.)
