How do I know the selling agent isn't bidding against me?

All bids on AuctionsPlus are anonymous, therefore when bidding on the platform, you do not know who you are bidding against.

A vendor is not allowed to bid on their own stock, as it cannot be disclosed to the public.

A selling agent, however, is allowed to bid on stock they are listing if they are bidding on behalf of another client.

Any financial interest from either the delivery agent or the assessor must be disclosed on the assessment, which is available prior to the sale commencing.
