Cattle: Cattle covers all cattle type sales, such as weekly commercial sales, stud sales and saleyard sales.

Sheep: Similarly, for commercial sheep or special stud sheep sales (Goat sales are also covered by this category)

Other: This category includes all auction on the AuctionsPlus platform that aren't cattle and sheep auctions. They include auctions such as:

  • Machinery Auctions
  • Clearing Sales
  • Antique Auctions
  • Charity Auctions
  • Fodder Auctions
  • Equine Sales
  • Working Dog Auctions
  • Property Auctions

Bidding Status

If your account is a 'Viewer' for any sale types, you will be unable to bid on that sale type

To check your bidding eligibility, click on the user circle in the top right corner. Your status will be indicated by color:

  • Green: "You are able to bid"

This indicates that you have full bidding privileges for both ‘Livestock’ and ‘Other’ auctions.

  • Blue: "Limited bidding available"

If your profile displays blue, you are not able to bid in all 3 auction categories. This generally means that  you can bid in ‘Other’ sales but not in livestock sales. ‘Other’ refers to non cattle, sheep and goat sales, such as machinery, clearing, antique, charity & fodder auctions.

  • Orange: "You are unable to bid"

An orange status means you have viewing access only and cannot place bids in any sales on the AuctionsPlus website.
