From 1 March 2023, assessors and delivery agents listing livestock through Assessment Entry will need to nominate their vendor’s AuctionsPlus ID (APID) in assessments.
In order for an assessment to be listed in an upcoming auction catalogue, the assessment will need to include the vendor’s AuctionsPlus ID meaning all vendors will need an AuctionsPlus account.
AuctionsPlus continues to evolve, building modern processes and systems with added protections to further enhance user confidence.
At present, assessors nominate vendors by entering their Trading Name and PIC, with associating the vendor’s AuctionsPlus ID being an optional field.
From 1st March 2023, the assessor or delivery agent will need to nominate their vendor by entering their AuctionsPlus ID in every assessment. This will enable the vendor's trading name, PIC and general contact information to be prefilled based on the information in the system.
The new workflow for the assessor and delivery agents allows for:
- An improved user experience, where vendor information is prefilled in an assessment being created, with vendor master data easily accessible.
- Ensures that vendors are kept up to date with the responsibilities placed on them by the User Agreement & Sale Terms.
- Contributes to information accessibility, as vendors would be able to view their lots in their dashboard.
The process for registering vendors has been made easy:
- An assessor or delivery agent can digitally invite their vendor to join the platform via assessment entry, with the vendor only required to accept the invitation to complete the process.
- Vendors are able to directly create their account by following the sign-up process on the website here.
- Your Vendor may have already registered an account to view results or auctions - if so, they simply need to provide you with their existing AuctionsPlus ID number.
